Current Job Openings - 

Engine Department

We are looking for a motivated self-starter for an open position in our engine department. Comet Racing Engines specializes in single cylinder two cycle kart engine building. 

Responsibilities includes but not limited to – 

Disassembly and cleaning of engines for rebuild
Dyno break in of rebuilt and new blueprinted engines
Engine sub assembly
Engine department cleaning and up keep
Unboxing and documenting inbound engines
Boxing rebuilt and newly blueprinted engines for shipment 

Requirements –

Mechanical ability and familiarity with hand and power tools
Must be able to work in person in Greenfield, IN 46140
Ability to work with others in a team environment
A love of high performance race engines is encouraged

Schedule –

Monday – 9am to 6pm
Tuesday through Friday 9am to 5pm

Part Sales Department

We are looking for a motivated self-starter for an open position in our parts sales department. 

Responsibilities includes but not limited to – 

Taking parts orders by phone
Data entry for phone orders in POS system
Counter parts sales for in store customers

Requirements – 

Computer skills a must
Able to read, write and understand English
Must be able to work in person in Greenfield, IN 46140
Ability to work with others in a team environment
Enjoy one on one interaction with customers
A love of karting is not a requirement but certainly helps

Schedule –

Monday – 9am to 6pm
Tuesday through Friday 9am to 5pm
Saturday - 9am to 1pm (only on occasion, peak season)
