The Swift pipe now includes a welded EGT bung from the factory. But read below to understand what's changed.
The bung can be prepped for use with the Big Nut EGT sensor style or the 5mm external thread small EGT sensor. The bung is made to handle either style. BUT the pipe is not ready out of the box for either bung.
If you want to use the Big Nut Style EGT you will need to drill a small hole in the bottom of the pipe bung so the sensor can be inserted.
If you want to use the 5mm External Thread Style EGT sensor it requires grinding down or cutting down the EGT bung to the "flat" in the bung then drilling the center of the bung so the sensor can pass through BUT not so big you remove the inner 5mm threads. Sometimes you need to run a 5mm tap through the hole to clean the threads after cutting and drilling.
In either case Comet can prep the bung for you if you wish then it will be ready for you when you receive it. Just select the option on the dropdown menu.
