We are selling the older rental karts from NCMP (these are NOT the new Arrow karts that are currently renting out there). There are 13 Rental Karts with 1 Season Honda Engines and 7 Partial Karts with lots of spare parts. We are not interested in splitting up the package, first $5000.00 takes all. 11/24/10- Comet will be closed on November 25th for Thanksgiving. We will be open on "Black Friday" from 9am to 5pm and Saturday from 10am to 2pm. UPS will not pickup on Friday so any orders placed after 3pm Wednesday will not ship until Monday November 29th.

11/9/10 - We have updated the shopping cart so we can now take Paypal orders easier. Please keep in mind that your price at checkout will not include the shipping charge. We will send you a Paypal money request with the total including shipping. Please do not send us a payment for what your items were at checkout. If the order is placed over the weekend then you will not receive a request from us until the work week begins again.

We have also added a UPS Ground Map on the checkout page so you can see how long your order will typically take to arrive. The map only shows how many days it will take during the week. The days on the map does not include weekends and holidays. We have also added a drop down box for UPS options and a selection for cheapest shipping rate available when shipping speed isn't an issue.

11/5/10 - Starting Monday November 8th, Comet will go to Winter Store Hours. Monday, Tuesday 9am to 6pm, Wednesday-Friday 9am to 5pm and Saturday 10am to 2pm. Closed on Sunday. All times are Eastern.

10/19/10 - Comet Kart Sales has expanded our trackside services to include kart transport to WKA Manufacturer Cup events starting with Daytona for Comet Racing Engines customers. Comet will also offer kart transport to all WKA Manufacturers Cup races for the 2011 season as well as select WKA Divisionals and special events we are attending for Comet Racing Engines customers from our shop in Greenfield, IN. Transport can be provided for one or more karts for reasonable rates. Contact us for more information. Space is provided on a first come first serve basis.

9/27/10 - The last WKA Manufacturers Cup race of the season at New Jersey Motorsports Park was another big success for Comet Racing Engines and our customers! The 2010 season has been great and provisionally it looks like Sam Beasley in the Junior classes and Ashley Rogero in the Junior Sportsman classes have both taken the WKA Triple Crown with 3 championships each this season! This is Sam's second Triple Crown in a row as well! Shinya Michimi also won his first WKA National Points championship as a senior driver in the Yamaha Super Can Light class!

Not only did Comet Racing Engine drivers have a great season, the New Jersey race was another great weekend as well! Eric Jones took the win in KPV Lite with the pole position, as well as the pole and win in Yamaha Supercan Lite with Shinya Michimi in second and Mark Dismore Jr in 4th. Ashley Rogero took the win in Yamaha Sportsman Lite with Kyle Tilley on the pole and a 5th place finish in the final. Sam Beasley took another win in the Yamaha Junior Lite class, taking the pole earlier in the day with fellow Comet Racing Engines drivers Jacob Donald and Skylar Robinson on Arrow karts finishing 3rd and 4th! Comet Racing Engines also had multiple podiums during the race weekend with Zach Holden taking 5th in Komet Sportsman, Jay Howard took the Prefinal win in Leopard with Luca Forgeois finishing 3rd in the final. Sam Beasley took second in Komet Junior Heavy with the pole position and another 2nd in Komet Junior Lite and Yamaha Junior Heavy with the pole in Komet Junior Heavy. Mark Dismore Jr. finished 2nd in Yamaha Supercan Heavy with Eric Jones in 3rd.

9/21/10 - We have been working on a site upgrade for the last couple weeks and it has caused some left side and top navigation issues on some pages in the online store. We are sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and we are working on correcting the issue ASAP.

9/9/10 - Last weekend at the Rock Island Grand Prix was a great showing for Comet Racing Engines with Gary Lawson once again showing everyone why he leads the list of all-time wins at Rock Island taking the win in both Yamaha Can Senior classes by over 4 seconds with a Comet Racing Engines KT100! Gary's Beasley Motorsports teammate Sam Beasley took the pole in the TaG Leopard Senior class and despite a carb problem at the start of the final that dropped him back to 6th, Sam rallied to finish 2nd and had the fastest race lap with his Comet Blueprinted Leopard. Colton Aldridge took 7th with a Comet Leopard as well.

8/11/10 - This weekend was the WKA Manufacturers Cup National at New Castle Motorsports Park and it was a great weekend for Comet Racing Engines picking up 9 wins and 8 pole positions over the two days of racing! Arrow Racing Karts also added to their win total for 2010 taking 8 wins! Sam Beasley took three wins for the second straight WKA National with wins in both Junior KPV Heavy and Lite classes and the win in Yamaha Can Junior Heavy with a second place in Yamaha Can Junior Light all on his Beasley Motorsports Prepared Arrow XE-28 chassis. Eric Jones took the win both days in KPV Senior and two second place finishes behind Comet Racing Engines driver Cody Robinson who swept the Yamaha Senior Can classes for the weekend, both drivers on Arrow karts! Kyle Tilley took the win Sunday in Cadet Sportsman Final #2 after taking the pole earlier in the day on his Arrow Cadet and Comet Blueprinted K-80 engine. Comet Racing Engines driver Ashley Rogero finished 3rd in Cadet as well as taking the win in Yamaha Sportsman Heavy with Tilley on her bumper in second place on his Arrow Junior kart! In addition to all the wins, Comet Racing Engines had numerous podium and top ten finishes! Congratulations to all Comet Racing Engines customers on their great runs and thank you for your continued support of our engine program!

5/7/10 - It was another winning weekend for Comet Kart Sales and Comet Racing Engines last weekend at the WKA Manufacturers Cup in South Bend Indiana. Sam Beasley swept the pole in all four Junior classes with two in Yamaha Junior Can and two in the KPV Junior classes with his Comet Racing Engines KT100 and KPV on a Beasley Motorsports prepared Arrow XE-28. Beasley also took the victory in Yamaha Junior Can Lite with two podiums in the KPV Junior Light and Heavy. Ashley Rogero had an impressive WKA National weekend with two seconds in the Yamaha Junior Sportsman Light and Heavy class and taking the WIN in the KPV Junior Sportsman class, all with Comet Racing Engines power! Cody Robinson drove through a tough class of Yamaha Senior Can's to take a thrilling WIN in the Heavy class with his Arrow X1-30 and Comet Racing Engines KT100! Cody also took second place in his debut race in the Yamaha Pipe class with a Comet Racing Engines KT100 and a 4th in Yamaha Can Light on Saturday. Brandon Polich had his best national yet with a 4th place qualifying in Yamaha Junior Can Light and his first top ten WKA National finish! Shinya Michimi took a well deserved pole in Yamaha Can Senior Light with his Comet Racing Engines KT100 and Merlin chassis. Jacob McWhirter had his first WKA National top ten in the Yamaha Junior Sportsman class and backed it up with another top ten in the Cadet Final on Sunday with a Comet Racing Engines K-80! Kyle Smith also took a podium in the Yamaha Junior Can class and Kyle Tilley took a podium in the Cadet class on Saturday with a Comet K-80 and Margay Cadet chassis.

11/10/09 - Comet Kart Sales and Comet Racing Engines had a great weekend at the season finale for the 2009 WKA Manufacturers Cup Nationals! Kyle Tilley took home the victory in Yamaha Sportsman Heavy with a last lap pass to secure his first WKA National Points Championship! Kyle led the class with a season high 3 wins on his Margay Rookie kart with Comet Racing Engines KT100. Sam Beasley took home 2 wins in the HPV Junior catagory with his Comet Racing Engines HPV on board his Arrow
XE-28 chassis. Sam also started last for the feature in Yamaha Can Sunday after an electrical issue in the heat race, Sam set fast lap in the feature and came through the field to finish 4th and earn enough points to take the points championship. That drive allowed Sam to secure his first WKA Triple Crown with three points championships in 2009! Congratulations Sam! Gary Lawson ran his first two cycle national of the season in his Arrow 4-S with Comet Racing Engines KT100, Gary qualified pole, won the heat and won the feature in Yamaha Senior Can Heavy, Mark Dismore Jr. followed Gary to the checkered in second place on his Arrow X1-30 for an Arrow/Comet Racing Engines sweep of the class! Mark Jr. also finished second on Sunday in the Yamaha Senior Can Light class with fast race lap after starting the feature in 7th after an altercation in the heat race. Ashley Rogero finished 5th in the Yamaha Sportsman Light class on Sunday with her Comet Racing Engines KT100 as well. Congratulations to all Comet Kart Sales customers this weekend.

9/3/09 - The new L&T Two Disk Mini dry clutch for Yamaha KT100's is now available! The Two Disk Mini has been winning WKA Nationals for the last few months in testing and is now available to all racers! Click here for details...

9/2/09 - The fourth of five rounds of the WKA Manufacturers Cup Nationals took place at New Castle Motorsports Park over the weekend. Sam Beasley continued his domination of the Yamaha Can Junior ranks by taking the win both days in Junior Can Lite and Heavy with his Comet Racing Engines KT100 with a pole in Yamaha Jr. Lite. Cody Robinson picked up his first WKA Senior Class victory with a win in Yamaha Can Senior Lite, Cody finished 2nd in Can Heavy on Saturday and also swept the pole both days in the Senior Can classes with his Arrow Chassis and Comet Racing Engines KT100. CJ Lintner back up Cody with two top fives in both can classes with his Arrow Kart and Comet KT100 engines. Kyle Tilley had the speed all weekend but not the luck, taking the pole by a half second in both Yamaha Junior Sportsman races on Saturday and Sunday and a 3rd place qualifying effort in HPV Junior Sportsman. Kyle was in contention for the win in all three classes with a handful of laps left in each but contact sent him off track in all three finals.

Entries for the New Castle Motorsports Park Mazda Robopong 200 Presented by Bridgestone go up an extra $100 after September 7th. If you plan on running in the event go to the NCMP website and get your team entered this week to save on the entry fee! For clarification, all teams will be required to run Bridgestone YKC tires, YHC's will not be allowed.

Comet will be closed on Monday September 7th for Labor Day. Any orders placed online over the weekend will ship on Tuesday September 8th. Have a fun and safe Labor Day weekend!

7/17/09 - The WKA Manufacturers Cup National at Road America was another great run for Comet Kart Sales and Comet Racing Engines with Kyle Tilley picking up his second WKA National win in the Yamaha Junior Sportsman Heavy class on his Margay Brava Junior and Comet Racing Engine KT100! Kyle also leads the points in the class. Sam Beasley took the pole, won the Prefinal and won the feature by an amazing 8.2 seconds in the highly competitive Yamaha Junior Can class with his Comet Racing Engine KT100! Jack Manley picked up a 5th in the Yamaha Junior Can final with fellow Comet Racing Engines driver Kyle Smith in 6th both on Arrow XE-28 karts.

6/29/09 - Comet will be closed on Saturday July 4th for Independance Day, have a safe and fun Fourth of July!

6/1/09 - Congratulations to Austin Schoonmaker on his first National win with a great run this weekend at New Castle Motorsports Park in the Cadet class with Championship Karting International! Austin took the victory with his Merlin Cadet Kart and Comet Racing Engines K-80 Engine! Mark Dismore Sr. onboard the new Arrow X-1 with Comet Racing Engines Parilla Leopard took 3rd place in the IAME Senior Class with CJ Lintner, Eric Jones and Billy Lewis all on identical Arrow X-1 karts and Comet Leopards having great runs but not much luck this weekend.

5/5/09 - It was a great weekend for Comet Kart Sales and Comet Racing Engines at the WKA Manufacturers Cup National in South Bend Indiana! Kyle Tilley won his first WKA National on Saturday in the Yamaha Jr. Sportsman Heavy class with his Margay Rookie chassis and Comet Racing Engine KT100, Kyle followed that up with a Pole and Heat win on Sunday in the Yamaha Jr. Sportsman Light class. Sam Beasley took a convincing win on Sunday in the Yamaha Jr. Can class with his Comet Racing Engine KT100 and Shinya Michimi came from mid-pack to finish on the podium with Sam in 5th place while also collecting the races fast lap time with his Comet KT100! CJ Lintner earned the pole on Sunday in the TaG Senior class and had a great race for the lead in the final before finishing a close second with his Arrow X-1 kart and Comet Parilla Leopard engine. Austin Schoonmaker earned his first WKA National podium in the HPV Junior Sportsman class onboard his Merlin 28mm kart with a Comet HPV-100 engine and missed the podium on Sunday by one spot with his Comet K-80 Comer engine and Merlin Cadet.

10/29/08 - It was an all Comet Racing Engines front row with CJ Lintner and Jimmy Simpson qualifying 1st and 2nd at the Whiteland Raceway Yamaha Can Endurance Race. CJ took the early lead but was sidelined with a axle bearing failure, the team of Jimmy Simpson and co-driver Jeff Wimmenauer cruised to the victory and the $1000 payday with their Comet Racing Engines KT100!

8/18/08 - It was a great weekend for Comet Racing Engines in the 2008 WKA Manufacturers Cup race at New Castle Motorsports Park in Indiana! CJ Lintner brought home the win in Yamaha Senior Sportsman Heavy AND is the 2008 WKA National Point Champion in that class! Mark Dismore Jr. also took home the 2008 Yamaha Senior Sportsman Light championship for the second year in a row. Jack Manley finished a close second in Yamaha Junior Supercan Lite on Sunday and missed his first WKA National win by inches! Billy Lewis brought home two podiums in the highly competitive TaG class with a 5th on Saturday and a 2nd on Sunday with his Comet Racing Engines Leopard with Evan Batt 3rd and Jimmy Simpson in 5th both with Comet Racing Engine Leopards. Weston Moon and Robby Seward picked up their first WKA National podiums in the Yamaha Supercan class on Saturday and Sunday. 8/4/08 - Another WKA National winning weekend for Comet Racing Engines! Congratulations to John Floor for his win in Briggs Animal Heavy and Spencer Boyd for his win in Briggs Gold Plate Animal at the WKA Gold Cup race at Circleville, OH! Jim Lipari had a great run in Raptor 340 with a 2nd place finish as well as a 3rd place finish for Kyle Lane in Raptor 370 and Tanner Long with a 4th place finish in the Black Plate Animal class. Jason Trennepohl finished in the 3rd spot in Briggs Animal Heavy. Congratulations to all Comet Racing Engines customers on their finishes.

7/30/08 - Comet Racing Engines racked up another WKA National victory with Mark Dismore Jr. in the Yamaha Senior Sportsman class at Norway, IL. Jimmy Simpson picked up his first top 5 qualifying at a WKA National race with a 4th in TaG Sunday, and CJ Lintner and Billy Lewis finishing in 3rd and 4th in the TaG feature on Sunday!

1/4/08 - Happy New Year fellow karters! The Comet team was in Daytona for the start of the 2008 WKA Manufacturers Cup. With close to 700 entries the event was HUGE with Comet Racing Engines pulling down a win in the ultra competitive TaG Class! With over 70 entries CJ Lintner won the final on his Arrow AX9-CIK with Comet Racing Engine's Leopard providing the power! CJ also finished 2nd in the Yamaha Senior Sportsman class, with his AX9-4S and Comet KT100, literally on the back on the winner! Cody Robinson on his AX9-4S with Comet Racing Engines KT100 cruised to the victory in the Yamaha Junior can class as well! It was a great event and congrats to all Comet customers on their performances!

10/2/07 - Comet Kart Sales and Comet Racing Engines had a great weekend to finish up the 2007 WKA Manufacturers Cup series with the final round at New Castle Motorsports Park! Comet Racing Engines took wins in the Yamaha Pipe Heavy class, Yamaha Junior Can Lite, and swept both Yamaha Senior Sportsman classes with a Comet 1, 2 on Sunday! 5/7/07 - Comet Racing Engines sweep all Junior Can Classes at the WKA Manufacturers Cup National! Congratulations to new Comet Racing Engines customer Cody Robinson on winning both Junior Can races at South Bend Raceway Park with CJ Lintner finishing second in both Junior Can races with Comet Racing Engines. It was also an all Comet Racing Engines front row with CJ and Cody 1-2 in qualifying both days! Jared Thomas earned his first WKA National win as well in Yamaha Junior Sportsman with an impressive win with his Comet Racing Engines KT100, congratulations to Jared! To cap off the weekend with an extremely hard fought battle on Saturday where Mark Dismore Jr. went into the lead on the last lap of Senior Can Light to end up 2nd in the last corner, Mark Jr. picked up the win in Senior Can Heavy on Sunday!
